How to Prosper Financially in God’s System (part 3)

This is the third installment on the teaching on God’s system of finances. I suggest you go back and read the other two installments before reading this, so it all makes sense. It is time God’s people prosper financially.

It is time out for Christian people to act as if they do not need money. The gospel is free but it costs a lot of money to send it to the nations. You are probably reading this through some form of online advertising that someone has paid for.

I know that God has placed a big dream in your heart and it looks extremely intimidating because you are probably thinking, ‘how am I going to get the money to pay for that?’  He will pay for it,  your part is just to release your faith and become independent of the world system of finances. (For example taking out a loan to pay for God’s vision). Newsflash- God is not broke, he can afford your dream, is he not the one who gave it to you? The real question is, how bad do you really want it? If he tells you to sell all, like the rich young ruler, will you do it? Or will you just walk away sad like he did.

The truth of the matter is that a person will never fully be used by God until they are totally free from the world system of finances. Because until you are free you will always be provision minded (working for a living) instead of vision minded (living in your God given assignment). God never told you to work for a living, our life is hid in Christ; our job is to trust him to fund the vision.

You don’t think the devil knows this? You don’t think he knows he has millions of Christians trapped in the rat race ‘earning a living’ instead of ever discovering who God called them to be?

No, I’m not saying to not work. If a man does not work, he should not eat. But it’s about your perspective concerning work. Live off of your harvest, and not your seed. Use the income from your job as a seed to what God has truly called you to be. Take the seed, bless it, and allow God to multiply it (like Jesus did with the fish and five loaves).  It’s not enough to live on anyway. This is the difference between trying to live on the 2 small fish and a piece of bread,  instead of bringing it God so he can multiply it and feed thousands with it. Will you let him? Then stop eating your seed!

The devil has been trying to fool God’s people for thousands of years with his failing system. He even tried to trick Moses in Exodus when he allowed the people to leave Egypt, but the condition was that their livestock had to stay. Why did he say the livestock/possessions  had to stay? Because Pharaoh/the devil, knew that without their livestock/possessions they would be forced to return to Egypt and its system to survive. The same way with Christians today, without a means to live, you will be forced to return to the world system of finances, even though you hate it. It’s time you learn God’s system of finances and begin to live by it.

In our last teaching we discussed giving, how to give, and the different types of giving. Giving gives you a legal right to receive, according to Luke 6:38. As I stated earlier, most Christians give, but very few actually know how to receive from God. Most are still waiting on a check to come in their mailbox. (it’s not going to happen that way). So then how does God give back to us?

God’s way of receiving is all about 4 things- speak to your seed, give in expectation, revelation, obedience (timing) .

  1. Speak to your seed. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. The authority of the believer is hidden in the power of their tongue. Speak to your financial gift/seed and call it what it should be. I know it sounds a little crazy, but whatever you say, if you do not doubt in your heart will come to pass. If you give clothes, you will receive clothes. If you give a car, you will receive a car. Yet money is defined by what you speak it to be. So don’t just give, without first defining what it is!
  2. Give in expectation. Most people give. But very few give with expectation of a return once they give. Once you give, expect. Expectation triggers faith. If you don’t expect anything to happen, then don’t even give it.
  3. Revelation– Now this is the big one. According to the book of proverbs, wealth and riches is all about wisdom. So how does God give back to you? He gives to you in revelation knowledge. This is why prayer, especially prayer in the Holy Spirit (praying in tongues) is so important. Praying in tongues releases revelation knowledge from heaven. Even Solomon did not have the wisdom of the Holy Spirit available 24 hours a day. However you do. 1 Corinthians 1:30 says that Jesus was made wisdom for us, so it is up to you access your wisdom. The harvest that God is going to give you is going to hidden. Isaiah 45:3 says that ‘I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I the Lord which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. ‘ It is not hidden from you, but it is hidden for you, so the devil will not steal it. It is for you to dig it out. It will be some form of instruction that will lead to your harvest. When Peter had to pay his taxes, Jesus gave him an instruction: the money was hidden in the mouth of the fish. When the disciples were out fishing, the supernatural harvest came in the form of an instruction (cast your net on the other side of the boat). In the same way, your harvest will come in the form of an instruction (usually the instruction will be something absurd, that you would normally not think of on your own.)
  4. Obedience-The last part is obedience and timing. Once it has been revealed to you where you harvest is, you must obey immediately. If you wait and miss the timing of God, there is no guarantee your harvest will still be there. If Peter waited to find the gold coin 3 days later, he probably would have missed it! Timing is extremely important to God. As soon as you hear where your harvest is, don’t go blab it out and tell everyone, just go get it! Wealth in the kingdom of God is captured through revelation knowledge.

Hopefully you were blessed by this teaching on God’s financial system. I know the religious Pharisees will critique it and cast it aside. I know many others will dismiss it as too good to be true and others will be amazed, but never act upon any of it. Yet I truly believe that someone is reading this and will act on it today and they are the reason that I am writing it. For that person, I pray a speedy harvest and a swift exit out of the world system and into your full destiny!
